Stork Twin City Testing Inc. is a member of the Stork Materials Technology (SMT) group of companies.

Our facility in St. Paul, Minnesota is the headquarters for Stork Twin City Testing. Since 1938, Twin City Testing has provided testing and inspection services to the upper northwest. Acquired by Stork in 1998, Stork TCT is now the most diverse testing laboratory in the Midwest.

Summary of position Builds customer loyalty by developing and managing relationships with existing customers. Cross-sells additional services, conducts new client follow-ups, revives dormant customers, and handles inquiries from potential customers. Works with Marketing Coordinator to create and conduct surveys, new client orientation programs, and client informational tools.
Essential duties/ responsibilities
  • Builds customer relationships by following up with new clients to be sure they were satisfied with our service and are aware of other services we offer.
  • Works with existing customers to ensure they are satisfied with our services on an ongoing basis and are aware of services Stork TCT and SMT provide. Conducts quarterly customer surveys and/or phone follow-up calls.
  • Handles incoming phone calls from existing or potential customers.
  • Works with departments to resolve complaints or billing issues.
  • Maintains GoldMine customer database with key contact information, services rendered, etc.
Education High school/GED, required. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience 3+ year(s) with demonstrated success in customer service related work.
Additional knowledge, skills, abilities, certifications, and licenses
  • Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Telephone skills beneficial.
  • Proficiency in standard office software, computer systems and equipment.
  • Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events in the community and industrywith customers and within the company.
  • Bilingual a bonus.
Physical requirements Work is performed in normal office environment. Degree of required physical force: Light <20 lbs. of force. Frequency of required physical force: Occasional (moderate).
