A growing branch
Opened in 1986 as a branch of Herron Testing Laboratories, based in Cleveland, Ohio, the Charlotte facility has grown to encompass mechanical, metallurgical, and chemical analysis under one roof. The Cleveland laboratory, founded in 1911 by James Herron, is an independent materials test lab featuring mechanical, metallurgical, and chemical analysis capabilities.

At Stork Herron, we believe that as the world demands stronger, more reliable and more efficent materials, the role of the independent testing, inspection, and analytical laboratory is increasingly crucial to every industry.
