Stork Materials Technology Netherland's Laboratory awarded Nadcap Accreditation
AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS - 30 June 2004
Stork Materials Technology is pleased to announce that Stork FDO, its Material Testing and Failure Analysis Laboratory located in Amsterdam has been awarded a Nadcap accreditation for Mechanical Testing.
The accreditation, under the Nadcap supplier programme, covers a full range of mechanical testing capabilities including tensile testing, impact testing, hardness testing, bend testing, microscopic and macroscopic evaluation, heat treatment and corrosion testing.
This is a significant achievement for Stork FDO, which becomes one of the first independent material testing laboratories in mainland Europe to be Nadcap accredited. A number of other Stork Materials Technology laboratories in the United States already hold Nadcap accreditations.
Nadcap, is a US based organisation representing major prime contractors, suppliers and government agencies in aerospace, defence and related industries on a worldwide basis. The Performance Review Institute (PRI), an independent, not-for-profit trade association affiliated with the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), administers Nadcap. Through Nadcap, PRI accredits subcontractors and suppliers to aerospace and defence industry consensus standards.
