Stork engineers have high profile at CastExpo '08
WIXOM, MI - May 2, 2008
Stork engineers are participating heavily in CastExpo ’08, the joint exposition of the American Foundry Society (AFS) and the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA). Stork Climax Research Services and Stork Technimet are exhibiting together in booth 604.
On Sunday, May 18, Stork CRS Senior Metallurgist George Goodrich will receive The John H. Whiting Gold Medal at the AFS Annual Banquet. The award is bestowed by AFS for his "untiring efforts to improve the foundry industry through research, publication of articles and books, leading and serving on committees in the AFS Cast Iron and Steel Divisions, and teaching for the Cast Metals Institute."
Additionally, Richard Gundlach, Senior Metallurgist for Stork CRS, has been selected to give the honorary lecture for the cast iron division of the AFS, which is scheduled for Sunday, May 18, at CastExpo '08.
