Stork Materials Technology expands European footprint with acquisition of Materials Testing Technology, B.V.

THE NETHERLANDS - July 12, 2007

Stork Materials Technology is pleased to announce the acquisition of the outstanding shares of Materials Testing Technology BV (MTT). MTT offers mechanical testing, chemical analysis, weld inspection, and failure analysis. The company was for many years a joint venture owned by Stork Materials Technology and Non Destructive Testing company Applus RTD. MTT currently operates from facilities in Breda, Sittard, Rotterdam and Veendam in the Netherlands, from Herne in Germany and Aberdeen in Scotland.

Charles Noall, Chief Executive Officer for Stork Materials Technology, said, "With the acquisition of MTT, we have substantially strengthened our position in the Dutch testing market and expanded our activities for the first time into Germany and the United Kingdom. MTT has an excellent reputation with its clients and a broad portfolio of services that fully complement current Stork testing capabilities in Europe."
