New Stork Windows and Doors Testing Laboratory Opens in Minnesota

SAINT PAUL, MN — May 4, 2007

Stork Twin City Testing has completed their expansion move and equipment installation into the new Windows and Doors Testing laboratory, a 10,000 square foot building in Maplewood, Minnesota.

Michiel Graswinckel, Product Evaluation Dept. Manager for Stork Twin City Testing said, "It was a major undertaking, but setting up the new windows laboratory was completed on time and on budget, our regulatory approvals and accreditations are in place, and our staff are already serving customers.

"The new building accommodates full-scale testing equipment and the easy transport of oversized samples. It has excellent loading docks and parking facilities, and is conveniently close to our St. Paul laboratory. We're already noticing that it has improved our turnaround capabilities, primarily because of the greatly simplified loading, handling, and storage features.

"The Open House on April 27th was a great success. Many of our customers came to see the lab and most of the St. Paul staff visited for a tour as well. We demonstrated a few missile tests with our new cannon apparatus, which we use for hurricane testing method for Miami-Dade County."
