Christiaan Verhoeven joins Stork Materials Technology as Director of Business Improvement

Stork Materials Technology U.S. welcomes Christiaan Verhoeven to the new role of Director of Business Improvement for the Stork Materials Technology Group. Verhoeven holds a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delft in the Netherlands and is joining SMT from Stork Fokker AESP where he currently holds the position of Director of LEAN Manufacturing. He has a long history within the Stork Organization, having joined the company in 1992.

Verhoeven will work closely with SMT management to introduce and implement the Stork World Class Performance program, which is comprised of business improvement projects based on the principles of Kaizen, LEAN Manufacturing and 6 Sigma within all Stork companies. He is currently a Board Member of the Dutch LEAN 6 Sigma Network and has undergone Gemba Kaizen training in Japan as well as numerous LEAN 6 Sigma trainings. Although based in The Netherlands, he will be spending much of his time supporting U.S. operations.
