Stork Climax Research Services is a member of the Stork Materials Technology (SMT) group of companies.

A history of metallurgical and engineering excellence
The laboratory in Wixom was formed in 1987 when three colleagues from AMAX Materials Research Center (formerly Climax Molybdenum Company of Michigan) formed Climax Research Services, a full service metallurgical facility that specializes in providing a complete range of metallurgical analysis, engineering, testing, and consulting, with particular emphasis on serving the automotive industry. The 1994 acquisition of Analytical Associates from Frankel Metal Company expanded the CRS capabilities to include chemical analysis capability.

In 2006, Stork Materials Technology purchased CRS, welcoming the facility, personnel, and capabilities into the U.S. Stork network. For more information about Stork CRS, contact info.crs@us.stork.com.
