CORROSION TESTING & SOUR SERVICES
Introduction to Environmentally-Induced Cracking: Dr. Eva Coronado will explain the important aspects of environmentally-induced cracking (EIC), including sulfide stress cracking (SSC), hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC), stress corrosion cracking (SCC) and hydrogen-stress cracking (HSC). Dr. Coronado will also explain how resistance of metals to SSC and HIC can be determined by standardized industry test methods such as those described in NACE TM0177 and TM0284. Other test methods will also be explained.

PLASTIC FAILURE ANALYSIS
The Use of Cross-Sections on Plastic Parts and Assemblies as a Failure Analysis Tool: José Perez, Stork Technimet Senior Materials Scientist, will deliver a presentation on examination of a failed part through cross-sectioning. Although it can be used in the same manner as a traditional metallographic cross-section to look at the structure of the material, cross-sectioning's power as a failure analysis tool is in its ability to examine entire parts and assemblies. The information presented in this webinar will provide additional options available to you when determining the best method for examining a failed part or assembly.
