Bird strike and hail impact testing
The Hudson River was the scene of a near-tragedy caused by flying geese entering and stalling both aircraft engines of a passenger jet. Our Florida laboratory has operated a bird strike laboratory to simulate and measure the impact of wildlife collisions on aerospace and aviation components. The same lab also offers space simulation testing to US rocket and shuttle manufacturers.
