1. How do I attend a Stork webinar?
If this is your first Stork webinar, we recommend joining the webinar 10 minutes before the start time. You will need internet access and a media player, such as Windows Media Player. It is recommended that you close other programs running on your computer, especially other internet applications.
Then, from your email invitation or our Events page, click on the registration link for the webinar you're interested in attending or copy and paste it into your internet browser or URL box. The link should look like this, http://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/xxx. After you enter your email, you will receive a confirmation email from GoToWebinar. Do not delete this because it contains the link to access the webinar.
If you have never attended a GoToMeeting or GoToWebinar event, you may need to download a brief software program. Follow the prompts and click to install. It should take about a minute. The software should be automatically downloaded. If you have problems with this, please visit the GoToWebinar support page at http://www1.gotomeeting.com/default/help/g2w/g2w%5fuser%5fhelp.htm.
If you've joined the webinar and can see the webinar landing page, but nothing is starting, check the time, the time zone and the date. If all of these are correct, but it is still not starting, contact the email address connected to the webinar on your invitation.
If you are unable to see the screen that tells you you're in the webinar, you are most likely experiencing a problem downloading the software or entering the Citrix site. This may be due to a firewall or corporate security block that affects your computer. Please consult your corporate IT staff for troubleshooting or visit the GoToWebinar support page.
Audio problems could be caused by a number of things. Here are a few things to check:
Your control panel should show a Questions module. Click on this to open a text box, type in your question and click Send. Most Stork webinars will allow time at the end of the presentation to answer questions that come in. If you wish to receive an answer privately, email the presenter after the presentation.
On the left side of your control panel, you should see a double-arrow icon pointing to the right. Click on that to open and close the control panel so it doesn't interfere with your viewing of the webinar.
Yes. To leave, click File on the control panel and select Exit - Leave Webinar to exit.
Most Stork webinars are recorded and will be made available within a few days of the original presentation. You will receive an email notifying you that the webinar is available for viewing and this will include a link to access the recorded webinar. Slides and documents from presentations are made available at the discretion of the presenter. Please contact the presenter directly to request copies of the materials.
